Fellow Republicans, what is the latest talking point from Fox News/CNN regarding Obama?

Q: We know he is a muslim but he is attending church today. What is Fox telling us today?

A: Nice try troll, but Fox news does not tell people what to think or say. By the way did you know that 36% of the people who watch Fox are Democrats? That's why they are still number one in the ratings.

  • DC Maximus says:
Fox is telling us the truth. He is a Muslim and will always side by Allah. He is unfit to be President. He cannot handle the pirate crisis. He is a narcissist.
  • PlanetTelex says:
    FOX blows
  • Oh Brother! says:
I think your newest assignment is to complain that the 1st dog does not have enough letters in his name.
  • Big Hairy Jew says:
I am not a republican but as one of God's Chosen People I can assure you that he is not a Muslim.
And it would be in your best interest to stop listening to Fox Noise Channel.
  • vew says:
    Is this a joke?

Why the hell are you so intolerant? Did Obama come hit you in the face some day or something? No. He's not a follower of Islam, and even if he was, who the fuck cares? He can believe what he wants to believe. What matters is that he's a good president.

They got the dog cause he's hypoallergenic. I'm surprised you would care. Since Bush cared so much about the well-being of animals.
  • Lying Republican Moron says:
My fellow Republican, Fox News saying that Hussein was born in N.Korea which wants to invade us in order to take away our freedoms and sell it to Al-Qaeda and which is also a part of Axles of Evil. He is no longer a Muslim or a Christian with racist reverend as we Republicans labeled him before. He is now a Buddhist. and that is why he uses teleprompters, bowing to monarchs, unable to catch pirates and this is a reason why Michelle Obama hates America. Obama's birth certificate is hidden deep down under Lenin's mausoleum in a middle of a Red Square in Moscow, Russia and it is being heavily guarded by former Soviet KGB and Putin himself. Bin Laden, Ahmadinejad, Taliban, Chavez, Castro along with Acorn, terrorist Ayers, Rezko and Obama's racist reverend know the secret code in order for KGB which war hero McCain read in Putin's eyes, to release Obama's birth certificate to Republicans.. Very scary, isn't it? But the scariest part is if Obama's birth certificate will not be shown to Republicans then their taxes will double and Obama along with Nancy Pellosi, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, Al Gore and Liberals all of whom of course hate America, will convert each and every hillbilly redneck racist to Islam. How wonderful life was under our Republican God, George W. Bush.Very much sad that those dark. oops, I meant golden days are over.

Doesn't matter which network you pick.....today it's all about the Portugese Water Hound.

No grand liberal gesture to purchase some poor abandoned hound at the shelter. They'll get a donation...you know, hush money.

Nothing but the best for the 0'bama family. Pure pedigree.
The rest of us will have to settle for something more marginal.

At least the hypocrisy is consistent, if nothing else.
  • John says:
LOL, yes go get your talking points otherwise you won't have anything to say.
  • What Hope and Change? says:
Haven't watched Fox yet today. What is the other 95% of the media telling you to say today?
  • marc2oni says:
please, fox news isnt news. its a bunch of sour gop heads blabing off right and left. i watch but have never and probably will never vote for a republican. so im part of why its number 1 i guess. but i watch it because i, like many people, like to get apposing viewpoints. i watch larry king, oberman, and oreilly every now and then and i balance all the view points and see what i feel is right. and honestly i always find myself leaning left in almost everything other then a few things like nuke power/drilling.

If a news anchor leave Fox News and goes to CNN, are they now trustworthy?

Q: Several former Fox people are now on CNN, MSNBC, etc. Why all of a sudden are these former "fox" employees now taken as being trustworthy to report the news accurately? Why don't they put a conservative spin on it so its not truthful?
Jack - Glenn Beck has always been crazy. Did you ever listen to his radio show? He has been doing his thing for quite some time now.

A: More liberal Bu11 sh1@

  • Dasans says:
Well some people allege Rupert Murdoch sends down orders about news coverage so they would be out from under his thumb i guess.

But really none of those are trustworthy, CNN, MSNBC, all out for ratings not out for the truth.
  • PlanetTelex says:
Have you seen the documentary called "Out-FOXED"? There was some pretty creeeepy stuff going on at that place (according to MANY ex-employees) Maybe they got tired of being told to twist the facts.
  • Катя says:
news anchors aren't trust worthy anyway, anyone who trusts anything they say is a moron.
  • A Republicrat says:
    People are biased morons
  • Jason S says:
For the most part the Fox news bureau is fairly respectable. The people who actually report the news. Or Major Garrett, the white house press correspondent.

It's the opinion shows that aren't considered fair. The prime time programming mostly. Hannity, O'Reilly, now Beck.

Even Fox News executives say that. That you have to distinguish between their news programming and their opinion programming.
  • Live Forever says:
As long they stay Fair and Blonde!
  • Richard Cabeza says:
Nope. Once a person has been associated with fox news their credibility is gone forever.
  • Catarina W says:
Like MSNBC is not a liberal's love fest? You're not asking questions for real answers, you're seeking ideological support for your impotent President.
  • DebbieP says:
News anchors don't decide what to say - the network decides what gets reported. so if an anchor moves from FOX to CNN or vice versa, they will read the news in the manner that the station wants it done. who is on CNN that used to be on FOX?

do you think that cnn is being the new fox news and fox news being the new cnn?

Q: ever since obama came to office, it seems that cnn like obama, like how fox news love bush and fox news hates obama, just how cnn hates bush. when cnn sees the protesters, aka tea bagger, no pun intended, they heavily criticize these right hand extremist. during the bush administration, fox news heavily criticize the left hand extremist protesters. do you see a role reversal, with fox news being the "revolutionist" and cnn being the bully.

A: I don't think you can find any news network that is 100% unbiased. Fox News is the most biased news network there is. CNN while it can be biased at times, I would never call it a liberal news network you can save that for MSNBC which is easily liberal. CNN is close to balanced, while sometimes leaning liberal it is hardly a liberal news network in my opinion.

C-SPAN, while not as entertaining, it doesn't have the fireworks of CNN or FOX News is pretty unbiased. C-SPAN however is usually only viewed by political enthusiasts, not average normal people but I suggest you give it a watch at some time.

No I don't see that at all. Fox is still out in right field and hardly fair and balanced.
  • ♂FUTURE TC OF CE♂ says:
    No not really.

Why do people criticize Rush, Fox News, CNN, or other media outlets without listening, watching, or reading?

Q: them?

I don't watch CNN, or MSNBC, or read the NY Times, so I am in NO position to criticize them.

Yet, people will criticize Fox News, O'Reilly, or Rush, or even CNN without ever listening or watching, or saying "I watched his show for 5 minutes, and that was all I needed."

Are you kidding me??

Thanks!

A: It wouldn't matter people would still take what they said and twist it around to their way of thinking.

Senate begins debate on Kagan nomination to high court CNN International

Washington (CNN) -- Senators began floor discussion Tuesday on the nomination of Elena Kagan to the Supreme Court, with Republicans mustering wee desire to delay a final vote. The 50-year-old solicitor combined is expected to be confirmed as the 112th justice on Thursday, and could be sworn into her judicial publish by week's end.

The start of three days of off-and-on debate centered on Kagan's lack of judiciary experience, and whether that would hurt her ability to sit on the nation's highest court. All nine members of the bruited about court came from various federal appeals courts.

"I have desire urged presidents from both political parties to look outside what I have called 'the impartial monastery,'" said Sen. Patrick Leahy, D-Vermont, chairman of the Judiciary Council, who, by tradition, kicked off the Senate debate. "Her credentials and legal abilities have been extolled by many from across the factional spectrum including [retired] Justice [Sandra Day] O'Connor and Justice [Antonin] Scalia. No one can suspicions about the intelligence or achievements of this woman. No one should question her character either."

The committee's ranking Republican, Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Alabama, raised concerns that her close by work in the Clinton White House and her lack of a judicial background would make a big deal of her a political "activist" on the bench.

"I think a legitimate lawyer or experienced judge who had seen the courtroom and the practice of law would not have tried as she did to glide their way through a [Senate confirmation] hearing in the manner that she did," Sessions said. "Her evidence failed to evidence an understanding of the gravity of the issues with which she was dealing and the important temperament of her role in them."

Kagan's confirmation was in little doubt as the debate began. Five Republicans have so far signaled their goal to vote for her, meaning conservatives don't have the strength in numbers to delay the proceedings with a filibuster.

A key GOP "undecided" announced he would grapple with Kagan. In floor remarks, Sen. George Voinovich, R-Ohio, echoed concerns of his colleagues that her deficit of judicial and litigation experience -- when taken together with her entire professional accomplishments -- makes her unqualified to sit on the court.

"I would argue that Gen. Kagan has been nominated based on her friendships and in the flesh attachments with President Obama and others at the White House, not based on objective qualities that would suggest she is qualified to be a Supreme Court justice," said Voinovich-- who is shy from the Senate this year. He was among nine Republicans who backed Justice Sonia Sotomayor last year.

Kagan would become only the fourth piece of work ever to sit on the prestigious bench, and several female Democrats-- including Jeanne Shaheen, Amy Klobuchar, and Kirsten Gillibrand -- praised her as a well-provisional lawyer with "real world" experience in government and academia.
