Trans World Expedition: Driving around the world Atlanta Journal Constitution

The direct is sinuous. Cross Central America, then head down South America to Buenos Aires. From there, I'll ship the car to South Africa, then imply north through Africa to Europe. I'm a native of France, so I'll stop in Paris to get some paperwork done, then go east through Eastern Europe, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, and India. I'll transport the car to Thailand, drive to Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Indonesia, and put the car on a final sailing home to the U.S.

My blog about the stagger, where I'll post updates from the road, is called "Trans World Expedition: The year of living unsafely." I hope it will be a good tool for people who want to do a similar trip.

It is scary to leave your girlfriend, your trade, your apartment and people you know to have a year of waking up in unfamiliar places. Many people think I'm spaced out to quit my job when the economy is so bad. But I'm 33 and I've worked since age 18. I came to New York as an artist and ended up as an art principal. It's early enough in my life that I can take a year off, then come back, hopefully pick up my career and start a family.

Next week, some of the mystery surrounding Fiat's plans for Chrysler will be dissolved. In a six-hour depress conference to be held on November 4, the management of the Fiat/Chrysler group is expected to aver a set of new vehicles, and the cancellation of many more current cars and trucks, for the six different brands that will be sold in the U.S. by Fiat and Chrysler by 2012. Here's a recap of what's been reported thus far across the determination: Fiat: The new 500 subcompact will come to North

Snow moves in: Winter storm warning through Thursday Daily Camera

It was arduously to think about snow tires when temperatures were nearing 70 degrees over the weekend, but a forecast of 12 to 24 inches of snow along the Front Classify has a way of focusing the mind.

On Tuesday afternoon, Discount Tires on 28th Street in Boulder had more than 100 cars in score waiting for snow tires. Their owners decided the time for procrastination had passed.

"Anytime it's accepted to snow, we get creamed like this," said store manager Mark Morgan. "It doesn't importance what time of year it is. Folks who live up in the mountains, they're proactive. They know no matter what, it's going to snow. Folks who subsist down here, they put it off."

If forecasts prove correct, those folks will be glad they didn't wait any longer.

The National Seedy Service has declared a winter storm warning for the entire Front Range extending through 6 p.m. Thursday. Boulder could see between 10 and 15 inches of snow, and some areas of the county at higher elevations could see
