Photoshop has been in the English lexicon as a session to edit images for a long time, but the latest version of Adobe's flagship stretches the canvas of copy manipulation much farther than ever before. The look of the program has changed so little from Photoshop CS4 that users of that version should be instantly adequate with this major update, but Photoshop CS5 Extended gives photographers, artists, designers and LOLcats obsessives a stupendous array of new tools. Among the new features are automatic lens corrections, High Dynamic Range toning, automated editing tools and pithy improvements to creating 3D images.

Installation and setup
Photoshop installation is straightforward, although it does lack an Adobe account. You can choose to purchase a licence key immediately, which you will receive by email, or try out the program for 30 days. When you get your key, you can copy and paste the entire string directly from your email into the first dialogue box, and the other boxes will automatically people. Both Photoshop CS5 and the Extended version come on the same installer — 980MB for Windows, 1.1GB for Mac.

AUGUSTA, GA - R?clame all photography enthusiasts in the CSRA: The second annual Augusta Photography Festival will be taking mortify June 11-20 and it is a great opportunity for photographers of all ages and skill levels.

The second year of the Augusta Photography Feast brings the CSRA a much-expanded offering of learning opportunities. The festival’s Web site, augustaphotofestival.org , lists the many exceptional workshops, seminars, forums and user groups.

Additionally, there will be a photograph critique session, a Q&A roundtable and even a boat on the canal.

Activities are geared for all skill levels — beginning, intermediate and advanced photographers.

As a happen of last year’s survey, activities will be offered over two weekend time periods and many will be offered more than once. Program locations will be throughout the Augusta section.

Workshops and seminars offer participants many advantages — a productive and quick way to learn more about photography, an time to try new photographic techniques, an opportunity to gain information from the expertise of an experienced instructor, and a way to share ideas with others who have be like interests.
