Digital Pix: From Camera to Computer EVLiving

Q.  I’m having a conundrum getting the pictures from my digital camera to my computer. I’ve tried several different programs, but nothing seems to work. Do you have any suggestions, Mr. M?

A.  Most digital cameras blow in with software that is supposed to help move your pictures from the camera to the computer. The truth is, I have yet to use any applications that came with my digital cameras because they’re not ordinarily needed to move photos to the computer. Double-click Computer (or My Computer, depending on the interpretation of Windows being used) so that your various drive icons are displayed. Double-click the drive the classics for your digital camera. It will probably display “Removable Disk,” followed by the drive note.
