While that Eye-Fi integration is kindly, there are two other cameras that I think are better for travel. First I want to emphasize how important the wide angle of the lens is (how far you can zoom out). There is definitely a difference between 35mm (traditional), 28mm (like this Canon), and 25mm. You can fit a LOT more into your pictures -- think all the times you tried to fling a building or landscape but it didn't all fit in and you couldn't just take a few steps back. IMO, 28mm is the absolutely largest measurements anyone should consider if they travel a lot, unless they only take up-close portraits.

The Panasonic ZS7 is smaller and lighter than the Canon, but it pulls back to 25mm when you zoom out. It also includes built-in GPS which will tag your photos with the names (and coordinates) of the places you're shooting. The room divider has twice as many pixels and looks downright beautiful. It doesn't have Eye-Fi integration and the long end of the zoom is marginally less
