Pressed Serkis for details at all events the casting of Bilbo Baggins , it was clear that, though the actor might not be certain on the start date for shooting, he was starkly on one thing – not to discuss Bilbo casting details.

Serkis politely declined to opine.

Delays and financial worries might be cause for concern – if we were talking about any film but trilogy. I, for one, am happy to see them taking their time – in order to get it right.

That said, should the delays continue, they could counterfeit the first film’s scheduled 2012 release – not to mention part two which, though it  isn’t officially na?ve-l it at this point, is supposed to arrive the following year (2013).

Agreed – It’s assuredly time for some real answers.

I suppose given the up and down, back and forth information that’s out there… it’s workable there just aren’t many answers to give. Maybe they jumped the gun on hyping the Hobbit films and should have waited to get the the fourth estate ball rolling until things were a little more solid.

I see it from a different point of view. Operation wouldn’t let on until the very last possible moment that business problems were going to effect film schedules. That’s why their’s so little news now. It smacks me of serious struggling to get past the bankruptcy hurdles and cut off on to whatever they can. All you can do is wait it out and hope for the best.

Q: i neediness help with a book report! i had all summer to read the hobbit and i didnt and here i am a day before my reports due and im stuck! i only have a few questions left,scaur notes have been helping but i need some extra help.

1) Relate what Bilbo does to try to avoid a war between the Dwarves and Bard. How does his method work out?

2) Explain the circumstances at Bilbo's home when he returns from his adventures and how his reputation has changes because of his travels.

3) Unfold the character weaknesses of Thorin. What do these weaknesses signify about human beings?

What are some good hobbit related pictures?

Q: I am doing a list report on The Hobbit and we're supposed to have a visual aide. On said visual aide there are supposed to be pictures of things that go along with the earmark. So far I have a picture of a dragon, some gold, and a still from the movie. Does anybody have good ideas on what else I should put on it?
